Torrent Description
CD reissue of 1960 album with three bonus tracks. Unfortunately no liner notes - according to some sources the JLH tracks were recorded 1948/49 in Detroit, in the back room studio of a record shop. Contracted to Modern Records, he used the name of Texas Slim on this session for the King label. Tracks 7, 8, 15 & 16 were actually recorded by Earl Hooker on November 26, 1952.
