Private eye Chang Wen Chiang (Ling Yun) receives a telephone call from his girlfriend Li Lan Hsing (Shirley Wong). He rushes over and finds her dying in a pool of blood. He takes an unusual invitation card from her handbag and sees her place of employment, a bar.
Li’s boss Ruby (Tina Ti Na) takes Chang to a mysterious party where women in the course of a dance act pass drug consignments to be smuggled. The police had long suspected the syndicate holding the party of being heroin merchants.
Gang boss Lu No (Angela Yu Chien) suspects Chang knows what is happening and she poisons Ruby.
