Sensual Pleasures could very well be Li Han Hsiang's cinematic catchwords. In forty plus years of filmmaking, the Shaw Brothers auteur forged a new aesthetic in Hong Kong cinema with his lush tales of raw emotions and erotic romance, like Golden Lotus, Return of the Dead, Madame Bamboo, and 1978's Sensual Pleasures.
Bathed in Li's usual luscious photography, Sensual Pleasures stars the four sexy starlets of the day - Siu Yam Yam, Chen Ping, Chan Si Kai, and Yu Sha Li. There are also cameo appearances by David Chiang and Danny Lee.

After dying mysteriously, Zhao Shi (Liu Yi Fan) gets turned away at the gates of purgatory by the guard. Because the reasons for his death are unknown, he must go back to the mortal world and die again to complete the life cycle properly.
When Zhao returns home, however, he walks in on his wife (Yu Sha Li) in bed with his friend. Later he hears his son and daughter-in-law discussing the insurance money from his death...
