Legendary kung fu villain Hwang Jang Lee is corrupt police captain in the pay of foreigners. The abduction of Mrs. Phillip's dog Rover, puts Hwang under pressure. Searching for a scapegoat, they find Mr. Chan, a poor umbrella maker and with promises of riches he agrees to take the blame. Chan's daughter, Man Suet Yi, distrusts the officials and asks her boyfriend Phillip Kao to investigate and he uncovers a web of deceit and corruption.
Two of the ultimate martial arts stars, Hwang Jang Lee and Phillip Kao, gather together in combat for some mesmerizing battles. Only Hong Kong film makers can make such an amazing film out of a nothing storyline. First Class!
