Un gruppo di truffatori professionisti, diventati ricchi truffando un manager che a loro volta voleva ingannarli e ucciderli, ha come unico obiettivo quello di aiutare le persone più deboli che non riescono a farsi giustizia da sole. I membri del team di Leverage (Nathan la mente, Eliot il braccio, Sophie la seduttrice, Alec il genio informatico, Parker la ladra) diventano quindi dei moderni Robin Hood, che al posto di arco e frecce usano le armi che gli sono più consone: inganni e truffe di ogni tipo. Tutte le multinazionali che abusano del loro potere sono avvisate.
