It is a time, in the countryside, when men and domestic animals retreat behind locked doors and wolves steal out to reclaim their ancient hunting grounds – a time between two worlds…

Now, haunted by flashbacks of Paris, and still walking the uncertain edge of sanity, he journeys down through France, to the old chateau where he first saw her, talking far into the night to Cyrano de Bergerac – determined to find out why.

But real life does not allow for happy endings — especially with the girl's monstrous family conspiring against him — unless Cyrano, as he wanders darkly between dog and wolf, can help conjure up a small miracle.
