Thanks Sil, will definitely give this a look mainly due to Scorsese finding it worth assisting in its production. Need something due to the stunning lack of screeners this year. I guess they have found some way to prevent the usual leak of award candidate DVDSCR's. Really gutted as this year I was gonna lock the door, turn of the phone, hoard munchies and entertainment enhancing cigarettes and have a DVD quality Middle Earth marathon. That's 15 years of planning out of the window or postponed. Guess there will be no 'The Force Awakens' early viewing next year either. Thanks for the up.

Despite the title being a bit misleading, no real revenge to speak of, it is a decent crime/gang thriller with good production values, a decent cast and a story based loosely on some true life articles. Can't help thinking that the run time is a little short reducing the story and character development by use of a voice over walking us through some of the more poignant motives and emotions of both the antagonists and protagonists. Apart from this annoying exposition it is a well crafted movie that definitely rates a viewing. Thanks for the up.
