It chronicles the last seven days of Laura Palmer's life leading up to her death. When originally released nearly an hour and a half of deleted and extended footage had been cut, and for over twenty years fans have been clamoring for this footage. This version re-incorporates all but one of the deleted and extended scenes back into the film. It also re-organizes the film to better match the shooting script. Intention: To produce a version that re-incorporated as many of the deleted and extended scenes as possible. Additional Notes: Version 2.1 Changes: moved Pete and Josie scene, corrected date legends, re- incorporated two of the three scenes originally kept out (Bobby giving Laura $10k, and Bobby testing drugs in the woods), moved Laura/James scene at her house to where it originally was suppose to be according to the script to make room for the re-inserted two scenes, Laura wrapped in plastic was shown twice (second one was cut), minor tweaks to about half a dozen transitions based on notes provided by Neglify, minor color correction fixes, removed the comma after "Teresa" in the title.
