This week, GHI heads to The Jose Bonifacio Cultural Center in Rio De Janeiro to investigate a center that has been plagued by haunting since its very inception. The land where the historic building stands were formerly a burial ground for slaves. Hastily buried, hundreds of bodies were thrown into shallow graves. As construction of the Center progressed, numerous corpses were disturbed and unearthed. With their remains scattered about, employees and visitors believe the ghosts of those desecrated bodies haunt the Cultural Center, waiting for the day they can rest in peace. Ghost Hunters International will investigate the haunting of Jose Bonifacio Cultural Center and the horrific history of the land upon which it was built. The team will uncover the truth behind the paranormal reports, perhaps finally allowing the souls there to rest in peace. Then GHI heads to Denmarkâ™s most haunted location in the county, Dragshlom Slot Castle. A medieval citadel, Dragsholm has 900 years of sprawling history and death. Dragholmâ™s ghostly white lady, whom many employees claim to have seen walking the corridors at night, is said to have been the daughter of a cruel nobleman who once owned the castle. Reportedly, the father became enraged after learning of his daughterâ™s plan to elope with her lover. The father made his servants imprison her inside one of the castle walls, where she eventually died.
