GHI travels to South Africa to investigate the paranormal events taking place at the Nottingham Road Hotel. During the Anglo-Boer War, the hotel served as a stopover for troops heading to battle. Legend has it that a prostitute by the name of Charlotte fell in love with a soldier passing through. However, the soldier was killed during battle and Charlotte never saw him again. Tormented by this loss, Charlotte committed suicide by throwing herself out of a hotel window. Today, guests of the hotel have seen Charlotteâ™s spirit wandering the rooms and halls. Sheâ™s been known to fold clothing, arrange flowers and even turn television sets on and off. As the team begins their investigation, Andy and Robb hear what sound like disembodied voices in the kitchen, and some shocking evidence found on the DVR system leaves everyone baffled. Continuing their investigation of South Africa, GHI explores the terrifying stories surrounding Cape Town Castle. Once used as a military fortress, this imposing structure has been the site of brutal torture and agonizing death. The horrific tales of suicide and accidental drowning leave some to believe there are restless spirits haunting the huge fortress. Those who visit the dungeon are overcome with a paralyzing fear, and during the investigation Barry experiences this first hand. While attempting to make contact with the restless spirits, Barry makes a startling discovery that shocks whole team.
