Bradley Edward Manning is a United States Army soldier who was arrested in May 2010 in Iraq on suspicion of having passed classified material to the website WikiLeaks.

On March 12, 2013 the Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) published the full,previously unreleased audio recording of Bradley Manning's statement to the military court in Ft. Meade about his motivations for leaking over 700,000 government documents to WikiLeaks.

This guy leaked the documents that show that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are a gigantic mess, a monstrous body count of mostly innocent civilians, and American soldiers enjoying the slaughter. Of course, such an image would be a PR nightmare for the US government, so they have to do everything to stop such information from coming out. Now they're making an example out of Bradley Manning.
