|  | Like ashot1473 said it's a show about Soviet agents living deep undercover in America in the year of 1981. Now from my understanding the story is fiction however one of the writers or producers was an ex CIA agent at that time so I would imagine certain information about KBG spies and their training would have some bases of truth. Plus there is more information coming out about the Reagan administration that Reagan apparently was such an idiot that he almost went to war with Russians if he had it his way. Which are all know would have been the death of all of us, so the show picked a good era. I for one like the show but I am a person who likes espionage shit |
