The year is 2306... thirteen years have passed since Captain James T. Kirk was swept away by the Nexus while saving the crew of the Enterprise-B. Sadly, one year later, Captain Montgomery

Scott was reported missing along with the passengers and crew of the USS Jenolen, and to this day has not been found. The remaining crew members of the USS Enterprise have gone their

separate ways. Captain Spock and Dr. Leonard McCoy have spent the last several years on Khitomer, continuing their work to establish peace between the Federation and the Klingon Empire,

though it is wondered if they will ever establish peace between themselves. Captain Hikaru Sulu and his Excelsior crew are on an extended mission beyond the outer reaches of the Alpha

Quadrant. Captain Pavel Chekov, although serving a high post in Starfleet Security, feels his career has stalled, leaving him to thoughts of retirement. Captain Nyota Uhura has been

serving as Director of Starfleet Linguistics, a post she finds extremely ...


..: TRAMA :..

Immaginate di trovarvi 12 anni dopo la scomparsa del capitano James T. Kirk nel Nexus, mentre si trovava a bordo dell'Enterprise NCC-1701-B e tentava di salvare i profughi El-Auriani.
Immaginate che Spock e il dottor McCoy siano impegnati in un'interminabile ambasceria diplomatica con i Klingon, che il capitano Sulu si trovi in missione triennale nel Quadrante Gamma

con l'USS Excelsior e che l'ingegnere Montgomery Scott sia già stato dato per disperso assieme a tutta l'USS Jenolan.

Immaginate che quindi, a bordo dell'Enterprise-M (la M sta per "Museum"), per commemorare l'anniversario della scomparsa di Kirk, possano trovarsi soltanto pochi e vecchi amici: Uhura e

Chekov, innanzi tutto, e persino John Harriman, l'uomo al comando dell'Enterprise-B durante l'incidente con il Nexus... sì, proprio quell'imbranatissimo capitano che fu a un passo da

lasciare il comando, dopo il tragico avvenimento.

Ma, soprattutto, immaginate che un antichissimo e insospettabile nemico tornato dal passato (no, non Khan! Quello è proprio morto!) voglia vendicarsi di Kirk per un torto subìto... anche

se un po' in ritardo!

A tutto ciò aggiungete il Guardiano del Tempo, un presente alternativo, amici che diventano nemici all'ultimo sangue e un universo sconvolto dal caos e dalla guerra... Mescolate il tutto

e otterrete il più affascinante affresco dedicato alla Serie Originale per il suo 40° anniversario.

La serie è stata diretta da Tim Russ, meglio conosciuto per avere interpretato il ruolo del vulcaniano Tuvok in Star Trek: Voyager, e che aveva precedentemente diretto un episodio di

quella serie. Le riprese principali hanno avuto inizio il 12 luglio 2006 ed hanno avuto termine nell'ottobre del 2006. Non è ufficialmente appoggiata dai detentori dei diritti di Star

Trek, ma è comunque citata nel sito ufficiale.

La serie fu girata nei set di Star Trek: New Voyages a Port Henry (New York). Le scene sono state anche girate nei dintorni dell'area di Los Angeles (California), tra cui Vasquez Rocks,

un sito famoso per Star Trek. Le scene dell'accademia di scienze vulcaniana sono state filmate nella San Fernando Valley.


Nella serie sono presenti Nichelle Nichols nella parte di Uhura, Walter Koenig in quella di Pavel Chekov e Grace Lee Whitney nella parte di Janice Rand da Star Trek TOS. Alan Ruck

riprende il ruolo del capitano John Harriman di Generazioni. Altri attori abituali di Star Trek appaiono in altri ruoli, tra cui Tim Russ (Tuvok in Voyager), Garrett Wang (Harry Kim da

Voyager), Ethan Phillips (Neelix in Voyager), J. G. Hertzler (Martok in DS9), Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko in DS9), Chase Masterson (Leeta in DS9), Crystal Allen (la schiava orioniana D'Nesh

in "Le schiave di Orione" in Star Trek Enterprise), Gary Graham (Ambasciatore Soval in Enterprise) e Lawrence Montaigne è il vulcaniano Stonn (stesso ruolo che ricopriva 40 anni fa
