The teams compete in thirteen legs traveling all over the world. In most legs the last team to arrive at the pit stop is eliminated. When only three teams remain in the race, they compete in a final leg. The Amazing Race 20 features eleven teams of two, each with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world. This season spans 40,000 miles (64,000 km) in twenty-two cities and five continents, with first-time visits to Paraguay and Azerbaijan. Visits to Argentina, Tanzania, Italy, and Germany are also confirmed for this season. The cast includes former Big Brother contestants Brendon Villegas and Rachel Reilly as well as Major League Soccer player Andrew Weber and professional golfer Maiya Tanaka who previously appeared on the Golf Channel's reality competition The Big Break.
