Copy the files to your hdd under /content/000000000.../ and simply start it from your dashboard.

cant somone just uploads a rip of the game i had the XGD3 update on hatachi 59 drive and still played backups online with no problems wanted to see what happens when i try run this game as ap 2.5 protection and all other never stoped my drive so far
You can not burn XDG3 games as there is no software that that supports the format and no discs that can take the extra 1gb of possible space, the only way to currently play these games is with a jtagged console until LT2.0 is released and a way round the protection is devised.
yes but the file i got here not over 8.5gb and whats lt2.0 ganna do if your saying its the disk:S what dont just uploads the rip of the console wont see other disk if same size or it would ditect verbatiums hatachi still works on 1.51 never had to use LT and stillplaying all games even after all updates that might ment wipe firmware.
Your not getting it mate, XGD3 is a new format and will not work with your current firmware. Your console may have had the dash update but your firmware has not, it will not run XGD3 until you update to LT2.0. Also the current ripping software that's used to make xbox360 iso's cannot copy the game data of this new disc format as it uses space on the disc that's not currently used with regular iso's, even if there were an iso of this game you would not be able to burn a working game and your console would not be able to play it.

Hi, ive installed this to my hdd in folder content/000000000, it shows up ok on my dash but when i try to play it says "this game requires an update, but the update could not be found" it also say in the dash " this is an installed game. to play, insert the original game disc" can anyone please help? thank you.
Hey Guys, just wanted to warn you, DO NOT DO THE UPDATE for DEAD ISLAND on 360. It will FLASH your DRIVE!!! Unless you are running LT Plus v.1.9 or greater. Had to Re-Flash mine with LT Plus v.1.1, still can't play it, Darn Hitachie Drives, waiting for C4EVA to release LT v.2.0, can hardly wait...
