tony_gr8 avatar@ Damu1991 ,Yes it is possible to install inside windows But i recommend you to try it by the method mentioned below .

You can boot Ubuntu or any other Linux Via USb stick or MMC .

Just Google and download any of these utilities .
"LinuxLive Usb creator" or "Universal usb installer"
If you like it then also can install Ubuntu from the Live USB Key.
Its fun.

the other version contains the rest files which you can update or download through the update at any time.
they are not really necessary. to make it clear this Disk image is enough to have a genuine and full copy od ubuntu..
remember it's 32 bit you can download 64 bit from their official website.

ubuntu 11.10 has new features and is more user friendly.
if you have any problem using it let me know.

@damnu1991 yes you can install it within any version of windows or you can boot it separately.
if you need to know how to do it let me know. i will edit the description of this page so that users can find it easy to install.
i personally like ubuntu and use it all the time. literally i have ditched windows a long time ago.

well, you need to know about Linux OS first.
Ubuntu comes up the the least customization but you can achieve anything on it.

But beware it might be little tough to get used to the command line and no-games surrounding.
You need a good internet connection because everything you can have on linux can mostly be downloaded from internet and it is what keeps it updated.
At the end it is worth the shot and to improve the learning curve and knowledge about different platforms.

always thought linux was for geeks, I am a silver surfer and if I can run it anyone can.
