NOT ALL ALONE

Unlike other carbon paper copies of Monster Hunter (think Lord of the Arcane, so as not to go too far in time and space), Gods Eater Burst does not even require the player to choose between single player and multiplayer that reserved. In contrast, in story mode also allows you to bring along up to three allies, all managed by an Artificial Intelligence quite competent. The allies are chosen from among the various Gods that inhabit the base Eater: everyone, of course, has its own skills and personality. Needless to say, as the importance of plot narrative which has been mentioned, married the chance to enjoy a complete experience even if you play by yourself, is a rather significant. In fact, it can be said that these factors Burst Gods Eater help to make the most accessible of all the games based on monster hunting action. Accessibility among other things emphasized by the possibility of helping his team-mates

defeated in battle.

THE LAST BATTLE

In theory the combat system also could provide steam to the issue of accessibility, since it is fast, frantic and less technical than that of Monster Hunter. Unfortunately, however, the limits of the PSP in this respect are felt and before he could move in a self-confident and agile on the battlefield, we must work hard. It is worth persevering, however, seen that slowly opens to Gods Eater Burst extreme customization that allows you to model your own to suit a warrior fighting style rather than the other. Both swords because the weapons are divided into three categories, in turn composed of a large number of different weapons for aesthetics and type of damage inflicted. Not only: if the firearms have their own characteristics, to influence the bullets are also added, with various attributes related to the type of fire, with the rate, in their elemental alignment. Available from the terminal in the base Fenrir, Norn, it is possible to totally customize the equipment to create or upgrade swords, guns and shields with objects extracted from Aragami defeated or obtained at the end of missions. In short, the meat (monster) Fire Eater Burst in Gods do not miss at all: it is well designed, moderately rich in ideas and original fairly well accessible. A good game, therefore, recommended especially to fans of the genre.

Just to clarify one thing: Gods Eater Burst is the new edition of that improved Gods Eater that Namco Bandai released on PSP last year to try to fit in the wake of Monster Hunter. A rather classical electronic monster hunt, and then, but - unlike Capcom's mega-project - puts much more emphasis on narrative and on the campaign fund reserved for adventurers and solitary wanderers.

HUNTING ARAGAMI

We are in 2071 and the world is not what we usually take for granted when we wake up in the morning. Mysterious single-celled organisms, capable of assimilating other organic structures and combine into complex creatures, have "consumed" a large part of terrestrial life forms. Men and animals including, of course. The few survivors are holed up in huge urban complexes called arcologies shielded. To defend them are the Gods Eater, sci-fi warriors capable of using weapons Arc baptized God. The Arc God are weapons that use cells oracle of monsters they are made, thus giving the possibility of Gods Eater attack. The monsters in question, baptized with the name of Aragami, there are so many dangerous and bad. There are Ogretail, which are very common and become truly threatening when they line up in groups or when they are accompanied by the most powerful creatures. The Who-You, however, they are ugly monsters with wings, use their slender body and thin positions followed by abrupt retreat. The Vajra, again, are the symbol of the whole Aragami game: boast features a lion, a good resistance to shock and extraordinary offensive capabilities. Viewing Vajra inflate the mane before exploding an electrical connection is a chilling and sensational show at the same time. Also on the good graphical presentation, however, that disappears when approached with the blazing soundtrack signed by Go Shiina, able to mix traditional Japanese atmosphere in orchestral puffs without ignoring detour in J-pop or fusion. This hunt the monster, in other words, it is worth to live "in the headphones."

FINAL TOUGHTS

God Eater Burst is one of the most accessible games ever among the many born after the resounding success of Monster Hunter. Embellished with a high level of art direction (especially with regard to the soundtrack) and built on a well-designed single-player segment, is especially recommended to fans of the genre but also just curious, perhaps seduced by the "sci-fi but not too much.
