TRAMA (Italiano)

Il giornalista televisivo Miller (Francisco Rabal) viene inviato all’aeroporto per intervistare il professor Hagenbeck, noto per i suoi studi sull’energia atomica. Ma quello che scenderà dalla scaletta dell’aereo non sarà un eminente scienziato: un'orda di uomini impazziti e dalla furia omicida farà strage del personale e si dileguerà verso la città. La causa scatenante è una fuga di gas radioattivo fuoriuscita da una centrale nucleare, la stessa guidata dal professor Hagenbeck, che ha ridotto i malcapitati a degli zombi assassini. La catena di efferati delitti continuerà in tutta la città, contagiando la popolazione e zombificandola a sua volta. La lotta di Miller nel tentativo di avvisare la popolazione troverà diversi ostacoli, compreso l’esercito che tentenna sulle azioni da mettere in atto. Ormai la piaga si è propagata a macchia d’olio e sembra non ci sia più nulla da fare; ma una sorpresa attenderà lo spettatore, quando si renderà conto che il confine tra fantasia e realtà è molto sottile. PLOT (English)

TV news reporter Dean Miller waits at the airport for the arrival of a scientist that he is about to interview. There, an unmarked military plane makes an emergency landing. The plane doors open and dozens of zombies burst out stabbing and shooting military waiting outside. Miller tries to let the people know of this event, but General Murchison of Civil Defense will not allow it.
